The Corporation is building public toilets at interchange stations in conjunction with major modifications to the stations.

A new public toilet was built and open for public use at Sheung Wan Station in August 2012. Please click the link below for the related Press Release.

Currently, 10 out of the 20 interchange stations in the MTR network have public toilets. Toilets at the following interchange stations will be installed by 2015:

  • Mong Kok Station
  • Prince Edward Station
  • Admiralty Station (South Island Line (East) project)

Toilets will be installed at the remaining 7 interchange stations without toilet by 2020.
