MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the replacement works of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems for Island Line (ISL), Kwun Tong Line (KTL), Tsuen Wan Line (TWL), Tseung Kwan O Line (TKL), Airport Express (AEL), Tung Chung Line (TCL), Disneyland Resort Line (DRL), East Rail Line (EAL), Ma On Shan Line (MOL), West Rail Line (WRL) and 22 stops of Light Rail (LRL), and the provision of new CCTVs for 47 stops of LRL.
The existing analogue CCTV system installed in stations along ISL, KTL, TWL, TKL, AEL, TCL, DRL, EAL, MOL and WRL and the Internet Protocol (IP) CCTV system installed at 22 stops in LRL will be replaced with a unified IP-based CCTV system.
The scope of the Works includes the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning and rectification of defects during the Defects Liability Period for the new IP-based CCTV system together with the decommissioning of the existing CCTV systems. It also covers the provision of spare parts, special tools and testing equipment and training as well as training facilities to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the new IP-based CCTV system.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in September 2015 and tenders will be invited in January 2016.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 15 September 2015 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
