Replacement of Passenger Lifts in KTL, ISL, TWL and TCL

MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the replacement of approximately 20 to 26 passenger lifts in MTR stations along Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, Tsuen Wan Line and Tung Chung Line.
The Contract includes the dismantling of the existing hydraulic lifts and the provision of new machine-room-less traction type lifts at more than 10 MTR stations.
The installation of the first lift is tentatively scheduled to commence in May 2019 with the remaining lifts to be completed progressively by end of 2022.
The new lifts shall have a rated speed of 1m/s and rated loads ranging from 900kg to 2,500kg. The tender may be divided into packages based on different rated loads subject to further review by the Corporation. Tenderers may tender for all or any of the packages, if the tender is divided into packages.
Maintenance services for the lifts subsequent to the expiry of the Defects Liability Period are required to be provided.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in April 2018 and tender will be invited in June 2018.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 16 April 2018 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 23 April 2018.
