MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the replacement of 9 nos. air-cooled chillers at MTR Headquarters Building and Fo Tan Railway House.
The scope of works includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of air-cooled chillers including all associated equipment such as pumps, pipework, electrical systems, control systems and all necessary accessories for a complete chiller plant system. The overall cooling capacity is approximately 2,600 refrigeration tons (RT). The existing constant speed air-cooled chillers shall be decommissioned, removed and disposed, and replaced with variable speed air-cooled chillers. The replacement works of the chillers are tentatively scheduled to commence in Q4 of 2021 with completion by Q3 of 2023.
The prequalification process for the tender is tentatively scheduled to take place in May 2021 with tenders invited in July 2021.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 25 May 2021 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
After expression of interest, applicants will receive in due course, an invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than the time and date stated in the invitation.
