MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the refurbishment of Kowloon-Canton Railway Through Train (Ktt).
The scope of the Works shall cover the refurbishment of the twelve double-deck Ktt train cars including interior finishes, pantry, seating, wall, ceiling panels and catering equipment, passenger information display system, lighting, fire alarm system etc. and rectification of defects during the Defects Liability Period for the refurbished Ktt Train. Interior layout drawings showing the design intent and a tentative list of materials will be provided by the Corporation while the final design shall be carried out by the Contractor.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in July 2016 and tenders will be invited in September 2016.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 18 July 2016 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
