MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for Contract K0755.B-18C: Noise Mitigation Works at Viaduct of YUL.
The scope of works shall include the following for the construction of noise barriers near West Rail Yuen Long Station (YUL):-
· Relocate an existing public car park.
· Conduct condition survey of the existing West Rail viaduct structure; review and modify the design of the proposed noise barrier; and construct two sections of noise barrier (approximately 180m long each) with structural steel frame and noise absorbing panels on the existing viaduct.
· Construct a cycle practising area with associated pavement, E&M services and landscaping area.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in February 2018 and tenders will be invited in Q2 2018.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 6 March 2018 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
