MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the provision of the maintenance services for the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment installed in stations from Hung Hom to Hin Keng along the Tuen Ma Line (TML) and from Tai Wai to Admiralty along the East Rail Line (EAL) of the Shatin to Central Link Project (SCL).
The scope of the services shall cover the comprehensive corrective and preventive maintenance, investigation for failures and repeated faults, fare and software update deployment, regular system audit, provision of workshop repair, system incident reports and asset condition reports for the AFC comprising ticket machine, gate, office contactless smart card processor, portable card analyser, station computer and other related auxiliary devices.
The Contract period will be for three years, with an option to extend for another three years. The maintenance services for the AFC equipment installed in the above mentioned stations along TML and EAL are tentatively scheduled to commence in November 2019 and January 2022 respectively.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in February/March 2019 and tenders will be invited in April 2019.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 4 March 2019 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Following expression of interest, applicants will receive an invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. Applicants shall complete and submit all the information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00 p.m. (Hong Kong Time) on 11 March 2019.
