MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express interest to tender for the consultancy services for provision of technology, innovations and E&M facilities improvement project at Two International Finance Centre. The consultant shall carry out feasibility study and make proposals on the following dimensions:

                                  

·     Access Management - smart control system for turnstiles integrated with lift system or access to the building lavatories;

·     Acoustic system – assessment and application of advanced technology to the main lobbies and buildings lavatories;

·     Building Envelope – assessment of applying reverse smart optical film technology at the curtain wall;

·     Customer Service - advanced technology system for concierge counter and LED display for public information and tenant directory; any upgrading for customer service system; assessment and suggestions of the latest visual devices: 

·     Energy efficiency -  air ventilation and lighting system in the main lobbies;

·     Environment – application of the latest technology for upgrading environmental sustainability and well-being of customers e.g. health or comfort;

·     Lavatory – assessment and application of advanced technology for lavatory management and upgrading hygiene;

·     Lift System – the best model adopted for lift system based on the user population,  efficiency improvement, energy saving opportunity and user convenience enhancement;

·     Security System – assessment and application of AI facial recognition function on CCTV, enhancing crisis management, access control or tenant registration system by using the latest technology;

·     Wireless coverage – the location of installing WiFi Internet devices to provide full coverage of the lobby and application of narrowband of Internet of Things;

·     Any corresponding upgrading systems that required to be done at 24-control room to accommodate any changes / upgrading of the E&M provisions.

 

The prequalification process for the tender will take place in July 2018 and tenders will be invited in 3rd quarter 2018.

 

Interested companies should register in writing to Procurement & Contracts Department at 20/F., MTR Headquarters Building, Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong on/before 2:00pm on 20 July 2018 together with the following information for prequalification:-

4.    Proven local and oversea job reference of E&M consultancy service for Grade A office buildings or commercial buildings with contract value greater than HK$1M since 2008 (contract award date) with details on security, lift system, environmental, sustainability, tenant registration, building envelope, access management, customer experience, energy efficiency, lavatory provision, wiring application, innovation, technology and engineering efficiency.
