MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for Advertising Sales Agency contracts for Package A and/or Package B as below within the MTR System including Kwun Tong Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tseung Kwan O Line, Tung Chung Line, Disneyland Resort Line and Airport Express. The Advertising Sales Agency is appointed to undertake the operation, sales and marketing for advertising space of the respective tender package.
Package A– Posterads, featureads, digital media at stations and train advertising (except outdoor billboards, entrance top billboards and in-train TV) at Kwun Tong Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tseung Kwan O Line, Tung Chung Line and Disneyland Resort Line (60 stations, excluding Airport Express)
Package B – Posterads, featureads, digital media at stations, train advertising including In-Train TV (except outdoor billboards) at Airport Express (5 stations)
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested companies are requested to express their interest for the services on or before 6 January 2017, and write to :

Company Background and Profile
• Company name, contact person details, background, profile and organization
• Name of directors and key management and their experience in relevant fields
• No of employees for the business
• Shareholding and financial information together with audited reports/financial
statements (including notes to financial statements) for the last three years
Major Business Activities
• Years of experience in advertising sales business
• Business coverage in Hong Kong or elsewhere
• Special achievements, awards for product development
• List of top 20 clients with their annual sales volume
• Years of experience in outdoor advertising in Hong Kong or elsewhere
• Years of experience in transit advertising in Hong Kong or elsewhere
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in January 2017 and only qualified companies will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in February 2017.
All companies responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for these contracts.
Companies shall not submit independent prequalification submission for the Contract if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company, or if they are a partner of a joint venture established to tender for the Contract.
Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not submit prequalification for the same Contract, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will submit a prequalification.
MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to withdraw at any time from the process or any part thereof without giving prior notice. No financial or any other obligation will accrue to the Corporation in such an event.
