Advertising Sales Agency Service for MTR In-train TV
Contract No.: Q061082

　

MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the Advertising Sales Agency Service of the in-train audio & visual system on Kwun Tong, Island, Tsuen Wan, South Island, East Rail, West Rail and Ma On Shan Lines. The Agency shall provide real-time news and infotainment in an integrated audio-visual format, and undertake the operation, media sales and marketing of the system.

　

The prequalification process for the tender will take place in April 2018. Only qualified companies will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in May 2018.

 

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested companies having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest and submit information for prequalification for the services on or before 9 April 2018, and write to:-

Company Background and Profile

  • Company name, contact person details, background, profile, organization and your associates
  • Name of directors and key management and their experience in relevant field
  • Number of employees for the business
  • Shareholding and financial information together with audited reports/financial statements (including notes to financial statements) for the last three years

　

Major Business Activities

  • Years of experience in TV advertising sales in Hong Kong or elsewhere
  • Business coverage in Hong Kong or elsewhere
  • Resources for Sales & Marketing department including no. of staff members, relevant experience & background
  • Provide top 20 clients and the respective annual sales volume

　

Provision of real time news and infotainment in an integrated audio-visual format

  • Relevant experience in the provision of real-time news and infotainment in an integrated audio-visual format including update frequency and variety of news & infotainment
  • Resources for news & infotainment production and broadcasting including no. of staff members and broadcast room

　

All companies responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.

 

Companies shall not submit independent prequalification submission for the Contract if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company, or if they are a partner of a joint venture established to tender for the Contract.

 

Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not submit prequalification for the same Contract, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will submit a prequalification.

 

MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to withdraw at any time from the process or any part thereof without giving prior notice. No financial or any other obligation will accrue to the Corporation in such an event.
