MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the project of K1715 - Replacement of Hong Kong Police (HKP) Amplifiers in West Rail Line (WRL).
The objective of this project is to replace the WRL Hong Kong Police amplifiers as below:
1. To replace the existing 410MHz-430MHz band fiber fed amplifier system for HKP Unified Digital Communication Platform (UDCP), also known as the HKP Third Generation Command and Control Communications System (CC3), from Kam Sheung Road Station to Austin Station.
2. To replace the existing 380MHz-400MHz band fiber fed amplifier system for Criminal Investigation Department (CID) from East Tsim Sha Tsui Station to Yau Ma Tei Ventilation Building.
The scope includes the site survey, design, supply, delivery to site, installation, testing and commissioning, updating as-built drawings, updating Operations & Maintenance Manuals, and provision of warranty support during 1-year Defects Liability Period for the works. Decommissioning of old equipment/system is necessary after the new systems are fully operational.
The prequalification process and invitation to tender shall take place in Q1/2019.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 7 December 2018 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 21 December 2018.
