MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for temporary storage of M-trains (electric multiple units).
M-trains are currently running in the Corporation’s Kwun Tong Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line and Tseung Kwan O Line. Around 126 cars will be relocated from MTR Siu Ho Wan Depot to the Contractor’s site in phases from 2020 to 2023 for temporary storage.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in February 2019 and tenders will be invited in April 2019.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 14 February 2019 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 28 February 2019.
