Concept:
The artwork has applied the concept of traditional Chinese wooden architecture. By using the unique roofing bracket system, "Dou-gong", the artwork looks as if layers of waves support the spine of the dragon above. The twisting and swaying motion designed into the art piece brings the Dragon Boat to life.

"Dou-gong" is a classic symbol of the spirit and disposition of the ancient Chinese architecture. Here, its symbolic power of cohesion and endurance interweaves with the allegoric meaning of the Dragon Boat, and reconstruct our visual sense and provide another channel to lead the passengers back to enjoy ancient China architecture.
