Tips for changing lines when departing from Ho Man Tin or Whampoa stations

When going to Central from Ho Man Tin or Whampoa, please interchange at Yau Ma Tei at the platform upstairs. If you¡¦re heading for Tsuen Wan, please change at Mong Kok at the opposite platform. Changing trains is easy ¡X just pay attention to in-train broadcasts and platform signage.

Attention : Some Kwun Tong Line trains will stop service at Ho Man Tin Station after extending to Whampoa

After extension, trains of Kwun Tong Line will terminate at Whampoa while some will stop service at Ho Man Tin Station during designated time slots*. When you travel to Whampoa, please pay attention to the platform information display and station or in-train broadcasts.

*Designated time slots are 7:00am to 9:30am and 4:30pm to 7:00pm on weekdays, 7:15am to 8:00pm on Saturdays and 8:40am to 8:00pm on Sundays and public holidays.

The Kwun Tong Line will extend service to Ho Man Tin and Whampoa from 23 October!

The Kwun Tong Line Extension will open soon! From Tiu Keng Leng to Ho Man Tin or Whampoa, passengers can enjoy a more direct journey than ever. Travelling between Whampoa and Admiralty stations will take around 15 minutes only.

Decide on the right exit at the platform when you get off at Whampoa Station!

Due to geographical constraints, Whampoa Station has two separate concourses. One concourse directly connects to Whampoa Garden and the other provides access to Whampoa Estate and Tak Man Street. After you get off the train, remember to follow the directional signs at the platform and choose the exit nearest to your destination!

Pedestrian Walkways of Ho Man Tin Station connect to Hung Hom and Ho Man Tin

The five entrances at Ho Man Tin Station are well-connected to newly built pedestrian walkways and lifts. This network provides a more convenient access for local residents travelling between the uphill areas at Chung Hau Street and Chung Yee Street, and the downhill areas along Wuhu Street and at Hung Hom.

Trial operations for trains running to Whampoa and Ho Man Tin Stations have started!

During the trial operations, after all the passengers have alighted at Yau Ma Tei, the trains will continue going to Whampoa to test service punctuality and reliability. Please pay attention to the public announcement!

Ho Man Tin and Whampoa Stations will open in October!

Ho Man Tin and Whampoa Stations enter final testing stage! The testing for station systems and facilities such as entry/exit gates, ticket machines and platform screen doors are in full swing. Training for operations staff and drills to prepare for the commissioning of the stations are also underway!

The Kwun Tong Line Extension has two new stations. Ho Man Tin Station has passed major statutory inspections while the inspections for Whampoa Station are in full swing. The Kwun Tong Line Extension is targeted to open in the early 4th quarter of the year. Stay tuned for our updates!
