Occupying an area of about 22 hectares, Tai Po Waterfront Park is the largest park managed by Leisure and Cultural Service Department. The park features a wide array of facilities such as an amphitheatre, bowling greens and promenade etc. Visitors can also go up to the lookout tower to have a panoramic view of the Tolo Harbour and the surrounding. A lesser known fact is that the tower is exactly the site where British troops first landed when they took over the New Territories.
