MTR Bus K75P Service Changes

To facilitate the road improvement works at Tin Ha Road near Ha Tsuen, with effect from 24 December 2012, Monday (works completion expected in end 2014), route K75P buses from Tin Shui will be diverted. For the convenience of students and passengers going to Hung Shui Kiu in the morning, effective from the same day during Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holiday), special trips to Hung Shui Kiu will be arranged at 7:00am, 7:15am, 7:30am and 7:45am from Tin Shui via Tin Shui Wai Park, Yiu Shing House, LR Tin Yiu Stop, Ting Shing Court, Shek Po Tsuen to Hung Shui Kiu.

MTR Bus K73 Special Trips depart from Ching Pik House Stop at Tin Chung Estate

From 23 August 2010 (Monday), Monday to Friday (public holidays excluded), Bus Route K73 (Tin Heng - Yuen Long West, Circular) will be enhanced. Special Trips* from Ching Pik House Stop at Tin Ching Estate to Yuen Long Plaza are scheduled during the morning peak as follows:

7:15am, 7:30am, 7:45am, 8:05am, 8:20am

*Will not stop at Fung Chi Tsuen and Long Ping Bus Terminus

# Students, Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities Concessionary Fare
Persons using Personalised Octopus with "Student Status" can enjoy concessionary fare when travelling on the MTR Bus (Northwest New Territories). Such concessionary fare is equivalent to the fare paid by child. However, when travelling on the MTR Feeder Bus, full adult fare must be paid. In addition, with the implementation of the Government's "Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities", senior citizens using Elder Octopus or Personalised Octopus and eligible persons with disabilities using Personalised Octopus with "Persons with Disabilities Status" can enjoy $2 per journey (if the original fare for the journey is lower than $2, only the original fare will be charged).

Octopus users travelling on West Rail Line, East Rail Line and Light Rail can enjoy free interchange for selected MTR Bus and Feeder Bus routes. To find out more about the free MTR Bus and Feeder Bus services, please click here.

As the MTR Bus Route A73 (Tin Fu - Tuen Mun Ferry Pier) has ceased service, fares for this route has been withdrawn from the list of Controlled Fares.

 

Notice to passengers

To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, please observe the following rules:

 

  1. Please do not board or alight while the bus is in motion.

  2. Please board or alight through designated doors.

  3. Please move into the bus compartment after boarding.

  4. Please do not obstruct the staircase or doorways.

  5. Please do not stand on the upper deck or staircase of a double deck bus.

  6. Please do not let children running inside the bus compartment.

  7. Please hold on to the handrails while standing. Fasten the seat belt if this is installed on the seat.

  8. Please do not place any part of the body out of the windows.

  9. Please keep the bus compartment clean.

  10. Please do not eat or drink inside the bus.

  11. Bringing any animals onto the bus is prohibited by law (except guide dogs accompanying blind persons).

  12. Please offer your seats to the senior citizens, disabled persons or pregnant ladies.

  13. Smoking on buses is strictly prohibited by law.

  14. Only parcels of a volume less than 0.1 cubic metre and not containing goods of a dangerous nature are allowed on buses.

  15. Please tender the exact fare or pay by Octopus and no change will be provided. Passengers shall not collect bus fares from other passengers inside the bus.

  16. Senior citizens aged 65 or above and children below the ages of 12 are charged one half of the adult single fare rounded up to the nearest ten cents.

  17. Children below the age of 3, if accompanied by an adult and not occupying a seat, will be carried free of charge. Not more than two children will be carried free of charge for any one adult.

  18. The scheduled bus frequency may be adjusted subject to traffic conditions withuot prior notice to passengers.
