1. Your acceptance of these terms and conditions
Welcome to the "Net Money Pre-paid Service" of MTR Corporation Limited (hereafter "MTR"). The following are the terms and conditions for the "Net Money Pre-paid Service" (hereafter "terms"). The service is provided to you according to these terms. By using the Net Money Pre-paid Service, you indicate your acceptance of these terms and your agreement to be bound by these terms. These terms may be amended at any time without any prior notification. You may review the full texts of these terms by visiting this webpage. The Terms of the Service is not applicable to other services of the MTR.
2. The Service
The MTR provides the "Net Money Pre-paid Service" via its "eInstant Bonus" terminals as a transaction platform for pre-paid services (hereafter "the Service") to passengers, on-line games and service suppliers (hereafter "suppliers"). Items for pre-paid include various on-line games and services, shopping services, searching services. You understand that the Service is provided as a service platform, in which the MTR does not warrant or guarantee the after-sales service, the on-line games or the products. The MTR encourages you to visit the relevant websites to understand their products and services, and enquire relevant suppliers on possible questions before deciding on your use of their products and services.
The MTR reserves the rights to suspend all or part of the Service for repair, maintenance, updating and any other actions deemed appropriate by the MTR without any prior notification.
The Service is only a platform for pre-payment services, where completion of contractual obligations (including provision of downloading and customer services) shall be solely undertaken by the supplier. Any enquires that are relevant to the products, services and usages provided by the receipt or the value-adding voucher shall be directed to the relevant supplier. The MTR shall not be liable for any damages, fees, expenses or claims resulting from or arising out of the contract, or that of the supplier’s website or technical problems of the system.
4. Password and security
You shall be responsible for the safekeeping of the password and reference number as printed on the receipt of the Service. You shall be liable for any obligations or responsibilities resulting from or arising out of the actions carried out with the password and reference number. You understand and agree to inform of the relevant supplier when you suspect any unauthorized use of the password or reference number or any other security issues. The MTR shall not be responsible for any loss or damages derived from this term.
You understand that you own the password and reference number of the transaction as soon as the receipt of the Service is printed. As such, cancellation, modification or refund of the transaction shall not be entertained when the receipt is printed.
