West Island Line
In October 2007, the Government asked the Corporation to proceed with further planning and detailed design of the West Island Line. The latest scheme was gazetted under the Railways Ordinance. This is an important milestone of the West Island Line Project.

South Island Line (East)
In December 2007, the Government gave the green light for preliminary planning and design of the South Island Line (East). The Corporation therefore decided to proceed with the preliminary design.
