We position ourselves to be a community railway. For our average weekday 3.5 million domestic network patrons, we continually seek to enhance the travel experience. We keep customers wi-fi connected throughout their journey, provide convenient retail shopping outlets in our stations and display the latest news and infotainment in a variety of state of the art audio visual formats. We encourage the creative artist in each of us through our "art in station" programme which sponsors regular exhibitions and live entertainment staged by both professional and amateur artists. We also take an active part in social organisations' campaigns by opening our stations to their activities and volunteering our staff services for their needs.

Efforts extend outside of our network for wider community benefit in promoting healthy living. This includes our Healthy 800 Steps campaign and annual Race Walking event which, in addition to endorsing a healthy lifestyle, raises money for charity. Our 2007 event raised HK$ 1.1 million for the Hospital Authority's public health education programmes.
