Our corporate horizons are broadening in scope and geographical operation. The inherent risks and rewards require a substantial shift in mindset and flexibility in adapting the technologies, business models and rail services and systems to any one local market. In 2004 we embarked on major undertakings in mainland China, with 16 consultancy and formal project development contracts in progress.
