2001 Achievements

· Maintained and/or increased the percentage of staff joining the Working Group (67% in 2000)

· Maintained and / or increased the level of activity achieved by the Environmental Protection Working Group in 2000

· Maintained and reinforced training in EMS and legislative requirements (320 staffs trained in 2000)

· Maintained and/or increased the number of seminars given by EPD and encourage staff to attend (5 seminars to 200 MTR Staff in 2000)

· Maintained the commitment in 2000 to conduct external visits to promote environmental awareness outside the Company

Integrate EMS into IMS	Complete the integration by end of 2002
Computer-Aided Supporting System	Develop and implement Indoor Air Quality Information Systems to support the environmental monitoring
EMS System Audits	Complete the implementation of the last EMS audit’s recommendations
ISO14001 Preparation	Complete the Environmental Aspects Identification based on ISO14001 method
