  • Complied with EIA Ordinance
  • Identified and reviewed all necessary works instructions with potential environmental implications
  • Ensured environmental specifications are included in all contracts with sum over HK$5,000,000
  • Environmental Management System (EMS)
    • Carried out divisional EMS for Consultancy Services and Transport Planning
    • Developed and implement Water and Indoor Air Quality Information Systems to support the EMS
    • Commenced system audits of the divisional EMS
    • Examined how best the EMS system can be integrated with the Safety and Quality Management Systems in the Operations Division
  • Audits and Reporting
    • Undertook internal audits to ensure the implementation of the last audit’s recommendations
    • Issued an internal energy audit report. Develop an audit protocol for subsequent energy audits
    • Achieved the target of less than 30 cases of environmental complaints in 2001
