Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower
The Clock Tower near the Star Ferry concourse in Tsim Sha Tsui was the train terminus before 1975. Situated next to the uniquely designed Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the 44-metre Tower, built of red brick and granite.

Island House
Rich with authentic colonial-style ambience, Island House was built in 1905 as the residence for the Magistrate of the New Territories. More recently, this charming building served as the official home of the former Chief Secretary of Hong Kong, before being listed as a declared monument in 1982.

Old District Office (North)
When Britain leased the New Territories from China in 1898, this building became the area's first Office of Civil Administration. In 1981, the structure's historic importance was recognized when it was listed as a declared monument.

This remains the only museum in the Territory dedicated to the history of Hong Kong's railway systems. The facility is located close to the historic former Tai Po Railway Station which was built in 1913 and officially became a declared monument in 1984.

Fung Ying Sin Koon Temple
This remarkable temple in honour of Lao Tzu, Lu Dongbin and Yau Cheong Chun was founded by a Taoist monk from Guangzhou in 1929. During the temple's early days, its koon was devoted to meditation, helping to pave the way for one of the city's largest and best known Taoist temples.

Lau Shui Heung Reservoir
Located amidst the tranquil green surroundings of Pat Sin Leng Country Park, this vast reservoir began life as a small irrigation pond for nearby farms. Today its country park home is a popular barbeque and picnic spot whose 5Km trail rewards hikers with unforgettable panoramic views that stretch beyond the northeast New Territories all the way to Shenzhen.

Lau Shui Heung Reservoir
Sheung Shui Wai / Lui Man Shek Tong
Sheung Shui Wai in Sheung Shui Heung was established in 1646 by the Liu clan. The original walls of the village still stand today, and the Liu Man Shek Tong, built in 1751, is the best preserved Hakka ancestral hall in Hong Kong. It was declared a monument in 1985.

Sheung Shui Wai / Lui Man Shek Tong
Kang Yung Study Hall
This rectangular, twin-halled building is one of only a handful of surviving study halls which were built for purely teaching purposes. Rebuilt in 1872, the structure still houses study areas in its lofts to this day. In 1991, it was listed as a declared monument.
