Sharp-eyed Smiley®World Characters encourage us to help each other prevent crime.

To ensure safe and enjoyable daily journeys for all our passengers, the MTR has been cooperating closely with the police and regularly promoting the importance of crime prevention through leaflets and posters in stations.

We can all help prevent crime by working together, including you, me and even the Smiley®World Characters.

Starting from 24 August, Smiley will appear at different MTR stations as a Good Passenger Ambassador to encourage the collaboration between the police and the public, as well as to promote the messages of "Beware of pickpockets!" and "Stay alert, watch out!". This is to encourage everyone to be a good passenger, and in addition to being careful of our own personal belongings, watch out for each other and report crime.
