Among life's pleasurable moments, many are related to the enjoyment of art. Through taking the MTR, passengers not only enjoy the ride to great living, but along the way can also gain the different enjoyment that art brings.
The "art in mtr" initiative has been a success since its inception in 1998,
with the "Airport Express Artwork Programme" being the pioneer project.
Thereafter, we have brought into our stations live performances, art
exhibitions, display of artwork by established and emerging artists, students
and young children. We have even made art part of our station architecture when
we build new stations or renovate existing ones.
