Tung Chung - Hong Kong Monthly Pass ("Pass")
The validity period and coverage are encoded on to any currently valid Octopus or Octopus product ("Octopus"). Passengers with a valid Pass can make unlimited journeys between the designated stations at any time within the month.

Terms and conditions:
- The Tung Chung - Hong Kong Monthly Pass ("Pass") can be encoded on to any valid Octopus or Octopus product ("Octopus"). The validity period is stored in the microchip of the Octopus.
- The Pass is valid for unlimited travel between the designated MTR stations specified in the "Travel Coverage". Passengers using an Octopus encoded with the Pass to travel beyond the designated MTR stations will be charged the normal fare for the additional section of the journey. For details, please refer to paragraphs 1.7 and 1.8 of the Conditions of Issue of Tickets.
- Interchange discounts or Fare Saver discounts are only applicable to journeys beyond the designated MTR stations covered by the Pass, and will not be higher than the fare of the journeys (East Rail Line First Class Premium excluded). For details of the interchange concessions on MTR Bus, MTR Feeder Bus and other feeder services, please refer to the respective promotional leaflets.
- A usable remaining value must be maintained on the Octopus when the Pass is used to travel for journeys beyond the designated MTR stations, or for First Class travel or any journey where the Pass is not valid.
- The Pass can be used by one passenger only and cannot be shared with other users.
- The Tung Chung - Hong Kong Monthly Pass cannot be encoded on to an Octopus that is already encoded with the Tuen Mun - Nam Cheong Monthly Pass, the Tuen Mun - Hung Hom Monthly Pass or the Sheung Shui - East Tsim Sha Tsui Monthly Pass.
- For enquiries concerning the validity period of the Pass, please go to any MTR Customer Service Centre at stations or to any MTR Octopus Enquiry Processor.
- A receipt will be issued when a Pass is purchased or renewed. The receipt should be carried with the Octopus for inspection in the event that the card malfunctions.
- If an Octopus has a pass malfunction, it should be returned with the receipt to any Customer Service Centre at stations where monthly passes are for sale. Once the information is verified, the Pass can be transferred to another Octopus. Under certain circumstances, passengers may be required to buy a new Octopus to continue using the Pass.
- Should a Pass stored in a Sold Octopus (including but not limited to an Octopus Watch or a Special Octopus) malfunction, the MTR, acting on behalf of Octopus Cards Limited, will cancel the Pass on that product and return the Sold Octopus to the holder, who will need to purchase a new Octopus product to continue using the Pass.
- If an Octopus encoded with a Pass (except a Personalised Octopus or an Octopus with Automatic Add Value Service) is lost, a replacement Pass will not be issued. If a Personalised Octopus or Octopus with Automatic Add Value Service is lost, it must immediately be reported to Octopus Cards Limited by calling the hotline on 2266 2266. The passenger must then go to any Customer Service Centre to apply for a replacement Pass. MTR will issue a replacement Pass as soon as possible, but the passenger will be responsible for any travelling expenses incurred before the replacement Pass is issued.
- The Pass is non-refundable, non-replaceable and non-transferable to another Octopus under any circumstances except as specified in Clauses 9 to 11.
- Passengers must produce their valid Octopus for inspection upon request or they will be liable to a surcharge and prosecution.
- The Pass is issued as a promotion only. The promotion period is from October 2012 to June 2013.
- The Pass is subject to MTR By-laws, the Conditions of Issue of Tickets and the Conditions of Issue of Octopus.
- MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to make the final decision in any dispute.
