Extended Train Service on the MTR for
the 2008 Paralympic Equestrian Events in Hong Kong

MTR will run an extended train service during the 2008 Paralympics Equestrian Events in Hong Kong from the 7 to 11 September 2008.

Spectators can take the East Rail Line to University Station for events in Sha Tin. The Equestrian Company will provide a free-of-charge double-decker shuttle bus service between the University Station and the competition venue. This bus service is only available for spectators holding valid tickets for the specific days Paralympics Equestrian Events.

The extended train service will tie in with the shuttle bus schedule. The shuttle bus service will start operation two hours before the start of the competition and finish about one-and-half hours after the competition has finished.

An extended train service will be provided on East Rail Line, Tsuen Wan Line, and Kwun Tong Line with a service frequency of 12-minutes. Normal train service frequencies will be maintained during the day.
