Dedicated MTR "Forerunner Technician" works all night to serve Hong Kong commuters

The latest in our popular "Unsung Heroes" series , the "Forerunner Technician" follows on from the two commercials - "Chameleon" and "Rail Doctor" - that were first aired in August last year.

"Forerunner Technician" offers a glimpse of the technicians who put their hearts and minds into their job, working non-stop every night until dawn, maintaining every train to ensure our passengers enjoy excellent service the next morning.

Synopsis:
In "Forerunner Technician" we meet the team that repairs and services each MTR train after the system has closed down for the night. Working non-stop until dawn, they must deal with every challenge - from replacing a motor, to fixing a tiny screw. This is precise and demanding work that requires a high degree of professionalism, allowing the train to be awarded the Train Preparation Certificate it needs before it can get back on the tracks next day to carry our passengers to their destinations.
