Tseung Kwan O Line New Train Service Arrangements
New train service arrangements for peak and non-peak periods on the Tseung Kwan O Line are introduced*:
Peak Period "3+1" New Train Service Arrangement
A "3+1" new train service arrangement on the Tseung Kwan O Line is now implemented during peak periods. From North Point Station, trains will run in a group of four. The first three trains will depart for Po Lam Station with the fourth train departing for LOHAS Park via Tseung Kwan O and other stations enroute. The frequency of trains running between Tseung Kwan O and North Point stations has been enhanced from 2 minutes 40 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds, Tseung Kwan O Line passengers are benefited as a result. Passengers heading towards Po Lam and LOHAS Park stations use the same platform to board trains. New LCD display boards installed on the platform show the destination of the next four trains. Passengers may choose to board any train and interchange at Tseung Kwan O Station for their planned destination. Purple queuing lines are marked on the platform at Tseung Kwan O Station for the convenience of LOHAS Park passengers to await trains. For North Point direction, trains also run in a group of four at an interval of 2 minutes 30 seconds. The first three trains will depart from Po Lam Station while the fourth train will depart from LOHAS Park Station. Hence, there is a 5-minute interval between the next group of train thereafter and the previous group of train departing from Po Lam Station.
Non-Peak Period Shuttle Train Service for LOHAS Park Station
During non-peak periods, the train service between North Point and Po Lam stations remains at 4 or 5 minutes a train. LOHAS Park passengers are now served by a shuttle train service running every 12 minutes between LOHAS Park and Tiu Keng Leng stations with a stop at Tseung Kwan O Station. Passengers travelling from LOHAS Park Station to North Point Station or vice versa should interchange at Tseung Kwan O Station.
