Airport Railway Extended Overrun Tunnel

The Airport Railway Extended Overrun Tunnel project includes constructing a tunnel of about 460 metres long east of Hong Kong Station along Lung Wo Road, and a ventilation building and emergency access point at the eastern end of the tunnel. After the completion of the project, the Tung Chung Line and Airport Express Line trains can turn back more swiftly, improving the operational efficiency of the two lines to meet future passenger demand.
