LED Lighting Replacement

Project Description

We are committed to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions on our recent large-scale LED Lighting Replacement Project across the entire MTR network covering 79 stations within live operational environments.

The project involves the replacement of approximately 140,000 lighting fittings with energy-efficient LED systems, achieving over 90% completion with full completion targeted in 2026. This initiative reflects commitment to green and low-carbon development, delivering significant environmental benefits while enhancing station environments for passengers.

Through this project, we have successfully improved lighting quality and comfort, contributing to a more pleasant customer experience, while achieving at least 50% energy savings, supporting long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.
