Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified Applicants for the works described below.
1. Background Information
MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the provision of a new data studio staging server cluster at Fo Tan Railway House (FTRH) to connect with the MTR existing network and support data collection from various building services and electrical and mechanical systems for new extension projects for Tung Chung Line Extension (TUE), Siu Ho Wan Depot Property Development (SHD), Tuen Mun South Extension (TME), Kwu Tung Station on East Rail Line (KTU(EAL)) and Hung Shui Kiu Station (HSK) at different project stages.
2. Scope of Works
The scope of the works includes the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, documentation and defect rectifications during the Defects Liability Period with details as follows:
1. supply and installation of a staging server cluster with production/testing platforms, software licenses, UPS systems, antivirus and time-sync tools, and all required installation materials;
2. provision of design, sizing, cybersecurity testing, data pipeline development, protocol interfacing, T&C, and integration with MTR’s network; and
3. provision of all design documents, interface plans, manuals, and training for O&M staff, and ongoing technical support upon end of the Defects Liability Period.

4. Expression of Interest
Prequalified parties will be invited for tendering for Contract LT017.02-25E. To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 12 August 2025 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System. Late applications shall not be considered.

5. Subsequent Actions
Suitable Applicants shall receive a prequalification invitation via the E-Tendering System. The Applicants shall complete and submit all required information and details via the E-Tendering System no later than the time and date specified in the prequalification invitation letter.
All invitations and submissions for prequalification and tender will be carried out through the E-Tendering System at http://www.hkextender.com.
6. Other Matters
Applicants responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by the MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.
Applicants shall note and make themselves aware of the Corporation’s ethical and probity requirements which shall be applied throughout the tender and contract periods. Further, Applicants shall not, and shall ensure that its directors, employees, agents and sub-contractors shall not, offer or give any advantage as defined in the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201) to any employee or agent of MTR Corporation Limited. Any breach or non-compliance with this paragraph by the Applicant shall, without affecting its liability for such breach or non-compliance, result in its application not being considered.
Applicants shall not apply for prequalification as a single entity if you intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another entity who shall also apply for the prequalification, or if you are a partner in a joint venture established to seek prequalification for this Contract.
Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not apply for prequalification as a tenderer for the same contract, whether as a single entity or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister company” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall elect which company shall apply for prequalification.
