Lists of Qualified Suppliers and Contractors for Proof of Concept (PoC) in Railway Operations
MTR Corporation Limited plans to maintain lists of suppliers and contractors for the following categories of technologies for proof of concept projects to be carried out in the operating railway:
- Robotics Solutions (i.e. Robots, Robotic arms, Automated vehicles, drones etc.)
- Smart Sensors Solutions (i.e. Internet of Things (IoT), Indoor and Outdoor Positioning, Optical Fibre Sensing Technologies etc.)
- Imaging Solutions (i.e. 360-degree video/imaging, Infra-red imaging, 3D imaging, Laser scanning, Other advanced equipment video/imaging monitoring technologies)
- Artifical Intelligence and Software Solutions (i.e. big data anlaytics, image/video analytics, sound/video/speech recognition, digital twin, general AI application, interactive data visualization dashboard, mobile application development, etc.)
Software tools and platform shall be provided by contractors for the above technologies.
The scope of proof of concept shall be in form of service subscription or product procurement, including hardware, software, design, on-site proof of concept, test and commissioning, and staff training.
