MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for Contract M1135-17 for the provision of cleaning and pest and rodent control services for the stations, depots, tracks, tunnels, viaducts, passenger trains, light rail vehicles, buses and intercity services within the existing MTR network. The scope of services will be divided into 7 packages tentatively as summarised in Attachment 1, with a base contract period of 3 years and an Option to extend for another 3 years.
The scope of stations covers concourses, platforms, entrances, platform screen doors, lifts and escalators, shops, staff accommodation areas, offices, toilets and control rooms inside the stations, the subways/ footbridges/ pedestrian walkways/ forecourt/ external lifts connecting to the stations.
The scope of depots covers depot areas, canteens, staff clubhouses, training centres, stores, locker rooms, toilets, offices, common areas and plantrooms.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in December 2016 and tenders will be invited in March 2017.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 3 January 2017 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 17 January 2017.

Note:-
1. Cleaning for PSD/APG facing track-side area in stations is included in Package 6.
2. High level area cleaning refers to cleaning of station areas above 3 metres high, awning, ancillary buildings and hard-to-reach locations.
