MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the provision of maintenance services to the existing ventilation systems of the environmental control systems (ECS) installed at the stations, tunnels, depots, ventilation buildings and ancillary buildings within the MTR network. The maintenance services contract will be divided into two packages as follows:
Package A - Provision of maintenance services for ECS ventilation systems in stations along West Rail Line, East Rail Line and Ma On Shan Line, and in Kowloon Bay Depot, Tsuen Wan Depot, Chai Wan Depot, Siu Ho Wan Depot, Tai Po Bus Maintenance Centre and Ho Man Tin Maintenance Siding as well as all fire dampers in stations along Island Line, Kwun Tong Line and Tsuen Wan Line.
Package B - Provision of maintenance services for tunnel ventilation system in Tai Lam Tunnel, Beacon Hill Tunnel, and in tunnels connected to six stations and seven ventilation buildings along West Rail Line and East Rail Line.
The scope of services includes the comprehensive corrective and preventive maintenance for the ventilation systems comprising fans, dampers, filters, air compressors, smoke ventilators, air handling units, motor control centres, local motor control panels, uninterruptible power supplies, temperature monitoring systems, tunnel ventilation control systems and the associated ductworks. Comprehensive inspection, cleaning, servicing, 24-hour on-call and emergency services, fault rectification, repair, overhaul, examination and testing will be performed on the ventilation systems to ensure safe, continuous and efficient operations of the ventilation systems.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in December 2019 and tenders will be invited in January 2020.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 2 December 2019 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Following expression of interest, applicants will receive an invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. Applicants shall complete and submit all the information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00 p.m. (Hong Kong Time) on 16 December 2019.
