MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the Provision of Term Workers for MTRCL Managed Properties in following regions:

 

Kowloon Station and Olympic Region

Tsing Yi Station and Tung Chung Region

Tseung Kwan O and Kowloon Region

Hong Kong Region

 

The scope of services shall include provision of term tradesmen and technicians for carrying out routine maintenance and operation of the installations and facilities stated below at managed properties in various regions.

 

-    Building Services Installations

-    Mechanical Installations

-    Building Management Systems

-    Carpentry and Joinery Works

-    ELV Installations

-    Painting Works

-    Electrical Installations

-    Plastering and Tiling Works

-    Air-conditioning Installations

-    Ironmongery and Locks

-    Plumbing & Drainage Installations

 

 

The prequalification process for the tenders will take place in April 2015 and tenders will be invited in 2nd and 3rd quarters 2015.

 

Interested companies should register in writing to Procurement & Contracts Department at 20/F., MTR Headquarters Building, Telford Plaza, 33 Wai Yip Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong on/before 2:00pm on 13 April 2015 together with the following information for prequalification:-

     documents.

3.  Audited financial statements for the last three years

4.  Number of tradesmen and technicians directly employed and their
     respective trades

5.  Training scope and methodology including safety training, skill &
     knowledge training, environment management training, customer
     service training and team spirit training.

6.  Time for mobilization and demonstration of ability to mobilize a
     large group of additional tradesmen and technicians within a short
     period of time in terms of numbers of hour and day.

7.  Methodology used by your company to verify/test workers’ technical
     skills.

8.  Details of the workshop, system and equipment for verifying/testing
     technical and communication skills of tradesmen and technicians

9.  Company human resource management plan; quality management
     plan; and recruitment criteria and methodology.

10. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification

11. Company safety policy, safety management plan, safety training
     proposal and number of direct employed competent safety
     supervisor

12. Local job reference for minor repair or replacement of builders’ and
     E&M works in thepast 5 years including name of employer, contract
     value, site location, number of tradesmen and technicians involved
     together with client’s complimentary letter (if any)

13. Working experience with MTR Corporation Ltd. on building and E&M
     works or maintenance services

14. Proof of being registered as Registered Minor Works Contractors in
     all three Classes I, II & III and all seven Types A, B, C, D, E, F and
    G as mentioned in Schedule 1 of the Cap. 123N Buildings (Minor
    Works) Regulation under Cap.123 Buildings Ordinance or Registered
    General Building Contractor under Cap.123 Buildings Ordinance.

Interested companies should be either:-

1) “Registered General Building Contractor” under Cap. 123 Buildings Ordinance; or

2) "Registered Minor Works Contractors” in all three Classes I, II and III and all seven Types A, B, C, D, E, F and G as mentioned in Schedule 1 of the Cap. 123N Building (Minor

    Works) Regulation. (Company registered in provisional status will not be accepted.)
