MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the Consultancy Services for Retail Market Research for MTR Malls in Mainland China. 

 

Scope of Services:

 

  • Market research and study on retail market in Mainland China with updated market intelligence for the specific cities namely Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chengdu.
  • Re-positioning study of Ginza Mall, Beijing. 

Tentative Tender Invitation Date                   :  April 2020

Tentative Contract Award Date                     :  June 2020

 

Interested companies should submit the following information for prequalification to Procurement & Contracts Department at 20/F., MTR Headquarters Building, Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong for the attention of Ms Carrie Yip on/before 2:00 pm on 26  March  2020.

Job Reference 

 
  • Job reference in the past 5 years for Mainland China and with the details as follows:-
  • No. of consultancy and retail market research services for Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Tianjin and Shenzhen (at least one shopping mall project with GFA over 150,000 sqm)

   For each job reference, the following shall be provided:-

  • Details of the property 
  • Jobs description, commencement date, completion date and Contract value
  • Client's commendation (if any)
  • Portfolio of properties over the world which is managing and operating by your company in the past 5 years.
  • Hong Kong, Mainland China and Overseas (please give details on client, name and address of shopping mall/building, description of reference market research jobs, jobs commencement date and completion date.)

 

  • Reputation/ Awards gained on leasing, marketing research or operation of shopping malls in the past 5 years.

  • Company Safety policy.
  • Company Quality Assurance policy.
  • Company Environmental policy. 

 

Section 4

 

Only qualified companies will be invited to tender.

 

Companies should not submit independent Expression of Interest for the Contract if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company who will apply for the prequalification, or if they are a partner of a joint venture established to tender for the Contract.

 

Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not apply for prequalification as a tenderer for the same Contract, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company.  The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong.  Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will apply for the prequalification.

 

All companies responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited.  All information submitted including personal data, will be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.
