MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified publishers to express their interest in tendering for the distribution of a daily Chinese newspaper free of charge in MTR stations.

 

The newspaper will provide a general summary of local and international news, and will be of benefit and interest to a wide spectrum of MTR passengers. The format and distribution arrangement in stations are to be determined. 

 

The prequalification process for the tender will take place in end October 2015. Only qualified publishers will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in November 2015.

 

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested publishers are requested to express their interest, and write to :

 

MTR Corporation Limited, 20/F., MTR Headquarters Building, Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. Attention: Ms Cora Keung, Purchasing Manager - Property & Marketing, enclosing the following information in an envelope marked “Expression of Interest for the Tender no. Q043333 - Publication and Distribution of Free Daily in MTR Stations” on or before 23 October 2015.

 

  • Company name and contact person for tender registration

  • Company background and profile

  • Relevant publication experience

  • Shareholding and financial information together with audited financial statements of the registered company and their parent company (if applicable) for the last three years

 

All publishers responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.

 

MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to withdraw from the process or any part thereof without assigning any reasons whatsoever. No financial or any other obligation will accrue to MTR Corporation Limited in such an event.
