MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified consultants to express their interest in tendering for Consultancy Agreement Q050120 : Design Consultancy for Tseung Kwan O Depot Phase II Section 4 and Associated Works at LOHAS Park.
Phase II development of the Tseung Kwan O Depot (TKD) is divided into 4 sections. The design and construction of Sections 1, 2 and 3 were included in awarded development packages of LOHAS Park. Section 4 will be implemented by the Corporation, the scope of which under this Consultancy includes the demolition of the existing temporary market and covered walkway, and construction of the foundation and structural framed decking for the TKD Phase II Section 4, remaining portion of the Activity Green and the Central Control Office with a footbridge. In addition, design and submissions for a Government Institution & Community (GIC) Accommodation will be carried out. Except the GIC Accommodation, the construction of TKD Phase II Section 4, remaining portion of the Activity Green, the Central Control Office and its associated footbridge are anticipated to be commenced in 2018 and to be completed in 2022.
The consultant team shall be led by an architectural consultant and supported by civil and structural engineers, E&M engineers, lighting, signage and landscape design specialists and any other sub-consultants as needed. The scope of services shall include scheme design, design development, statutory submissions to the Government Departments and Utility Undertakers for approval and consent, preparation of the tender documents and supervision of the construction works. Quantity Surveying consultancy services will not included in this Consultancy.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in October 2016 and tenders will be invited in December 2016.
