MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the provision of Consultancy Service for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.

 

The scope of services includes:

 

·   To organize a 3-day innovation and entrepreneurship bootcamp for 30 participants

·   To provide 4 workshops on innovation topics including, but not limited to design thinking and pitching, with speakers from an entrepreneurship background

·   To recruit start-up founders as mentors for the bootcamp

·   To engage reputable industry practitioners who are active in the start-up community as judges for the conclusion of the bootcamp

 

The prequalification process for the tender and tender invitation will take place in August 2017.

 

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest in writing and submit the following information and details to Ms Karen Kwong via fax no. (852) 2993 7775 or email to kkmkwong@mtr.com.hk, quoting the Ref. “Q056585”, on or before 11 August 2017.

　

  1. Company profile and history, years of company establishment. Interested companies should have more than 5 years of experience in organizing similar bootcamps both globally and in Hong Kong.
    　

  2. At least 3 relevant job references in organizing similar bootcamps in the past 5 years, including the names of both Hong Kong and global clientele. Interested companies should have a proven track record of incubating and investing in start-ups that have successfully secured further investment.  Please also specify the objective and outcome of each event.
    　

  3. A brief proposal including preliminary idea on bootcamp schedule, structure, cost estimates, facilitators’/trainers’ biography and evaluation framework to be used for post-event assessment. 

Only qualified companies will be invited to tender.

 

You should not apply for prequalification as a tenderer for this Consultancy independently if you intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company who will apply for the prequalification, or if you are a partner of a joint venture established to seek prequalification for this Consultancy.

 

Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not apply for prequalification as a tenderer for the same Consultancy, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will apply for the prequalification.

 

Applicants responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, will be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Consultancy.
