MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the Social Media Agency Services for Commercial & Marketing Division and Corporate Affairs Division.

 

The appointed agency will be required to support the operations of the Corporation’s social media activities. Some of the services such as graphic and video production services, and media placement services will be provided on an as-needed basis.

 

The prequalification process for the tender will take place in September 2018 and only qualified companies will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in October 2018.

 

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested companies having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest and submit information for prequalification for the services on or before 3 September 2018, and write to:–

Attention: Mr Daniel Yu, Purchasing Manager – Property & Corporate Services, enclosing the following information in an envelope marked “Prequalification Submission for Provision of Social Media Agency Services (Q063873)”.

·   Company background, credential and year of business

·   Company organization and no. of employees

·   Special achievements or awards in the past 3 years

·   List of major clients in the past 3 years with service details and client contact person details

·   Relevant past job reference (illustrated with photos) which can demonstrate the creativity, capability and experience of the company in the relevant social media agency services.

 

All companies responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.

 

Companies shall not submit independent prequalification submission for the Contract if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company, or if they are a partner of a joint venture established to tender for the Contract.

 

Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not express interest and submit tenders for the same Contract, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will submit expression of interest and a tender.

 

MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to withdraw at any time from the process or any part thereof without giving prior notice. No financial or any other obligation will accrue to MTR Corporation Limited in such an event.
