Supply of Uniform for Maintenance and Materials & Stores Staff

MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified suppliers to express their interest in tendering for the following 3-Year Contracts:

 

The scope of supply includes:

 

  • Supply of standard sized non-suit type uniforms
  • Delivery to MTR depots, stations and other designated locations

The prequalification assessment will take place in December 2019 and only qualified company will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in January 2020.

 

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience shall express their interest in writing and submit the following information, on or before 20 November 2019, to Ms Bassey Chan via fax no. (852) 2993 7775 or email to basseyc@mtr.com.hk, quoting the Ref. “Q072917 (Supply of Uniform for Maintenance and Materials & Stores Staff)”, for prequalification:

 

1. Company profile (e.g. company background, experience, and qualification of key management staff, annual sales turnover, location of major source of fabric supply, factories information, etc.)

 

2. List of relevant job reference for the supply of non-suit type uniforms in the past 3 years with local customers having not less than 300 uniform staff. Please provide details of customer's name, contact person & telephone and contract description for reference check. 

 

All companies responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, shall be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this Contract.

 

Companies shall not submit independent prequalification submission for the Contract if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another company, or if they are a partner of a joint venture established to tender for the Contract.

 

Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not submit prequalification for the same Contract, whether on their own or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister companies” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall determine which company will submit a prequalification.

 

MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to withdraw at any time from the process or any part thereof without giving prior notice. No financial or any other obligation will accrue to the Corporation in such an event.
