MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for Contract Q081848: Fit Out Works of Tai Wai Property Development Retail Centre.
The Tai Wai property development includes, inter alia, a retail centre of about 60,620m2. The developer of Tai Wai property development is responsible for the design and construction of the retail centre for the issuance of the Occupation Permit (OP) and will hand over to the MTR Corporation Limited for fit out works. The concrete structure and basic E&M provisions up to OP standard will be completed before the handover.
The scope of works under this Contract includes the general fit out and builder’s works for the common area of retail centre including ceiling, wall and floor finishes along arcades, toilets, baby care room, lift cars, lift lobbies, external and internal signages, E&M modification and installation works, A&A works which involve statutory submissions and inspections and on-site mock ups for architectural features, counter and signages etc. The supply and installation of electrical & ELV, fire services, plumbing and drainage, mechanical ventilation and air conditioning will be under nominated sub-contracts of this Contract.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in January 2021 and tenders will be invited in May 2021.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties including building contractors and fitout contractors who have relevant resources, qualifications and experience in large scale fitting out works of prestige projects in Hong Kong are requested to express their interest on or before 28 January 2021 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
