Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified Applicants for the works described below.
1. Background Information
MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for Contract No. Q118816: Term Contract for Enhancement of Existing Chilled Water Pipe at Lei Tung to South Horizon.
The Term Contract duration will be for one year commencing from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 with options to extend the Term Contract for another one year and after that for a further one year resulting in a total duration of three years if all the options are exercised.
2. Scope of Works
The scope of works comprises the provision of labour (including metalwork fitters, competent personnel and scaffolding labour), materials, equipment, tools to carry out the design, delivery, supply and installation of steel bracket for the chilled water pipeline between Lei Tung to South Horizons.

4. Expressions of Interest
To be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 1 June 2026 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.

5. Deadline to Return Answers / Information
Applicants will receive a prequalification invitation via the E-Tendering System. The Applicants shall complete and submit all required information and details via the E-Tendering System no later than the time and date stated in the prequalification invitation letter.
All invitations and submissions for prequalification shall be carried out through the E-Tendering System at http://www.hkextender.com.
6. Other Matters
Applicants responding to this advertisement are deemed to have complied with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in the collection and transfer of personal data to MTR Corporation Limited. All information submitted including personal data, will be used by MTR Corporation Limited for the prequalification of tenderers for this project.
Applicants shall note and make themselves aware of the Corporation’s ethical and probity requirements which shall be applied throughout the tender and contract periods. Further, Applicants shall not, and shall ensure that its directors, employees, agents and sub-contractors shall not, offer or give any advantage as defined in the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201) to any employee or agent of MTR Corporation Limited. Any breach or non-compliance with this paragraph by the Applicant shall, without affecting its liability for such breach or non-compliance, result in its application not being considered.
Applicants shall not apply for prequalification as an entity if they intend to act as a supplier, sub-contractor or sub-consultant for another entity who will also apply for the prequalification, or if they are a partner in a joint venture established to seek prequalification for this Contract.
Companies having linkage to each other, e.g. subsidiaries, holding or sister companies, shall not apply for prequalification as a tenderer for the same contract, whether as a single entity or as a partner of a joint venture. “Sister company” shall mean all companies which are subsidiaries of or otherwise belonging to the same holding company. The existence of a holding-subsidiary relationship shall be determined in accordance with the provisions in Sections 13 to 15 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong. Companies having linkage to each other shall elect which company shall apply for prequalification.
The Corporation reserves the right to conduct negotiation with shortlisted tenderers or with the tenderer who submit the lowest price technical compliant tender on the technical and financial terms of the tender offer(s). Such negotiations may be conducted through e-auction or other appropriate methods as determined by the Corporation.
