MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the term contract for architectural and building works to be carried out in various MTR premises such as stations, depots, ancillary buildings, quarters, workshops, retail area and kiosks along and in the vicinity of the Operating Railway including Kwun Tong Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line, Tseung Kwan O Line, East Rail Line, Ma On Shan Line, Airport Express, Tung Chung & Disneyland Resort Lines, West Rail Line, Light Rail and other new railway lines to be put into services.
The scope of the works include the provision of all labour, materials, plant, tools, implements, design where specified, hoardings, scaffolding and all enabling measures as necessary for the execution, completion and maintenance of all works relating to repair, alteration, refurbishment, fitting out, reinstatement, improvement, addition, demolition and any other works or services relating to the architectural and building works and finishes (excluding track works, associated works under railway tracks and E&M works).
The works will be carried out under a term contract arrangement. The contract duration will be 24 months, with an option to extend for another 24 months.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in January 2016 and tenders will be invited in March 2016.
In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 11 January 2016 via the MTR Corporation Limited’s E-Tendering System.
Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive invitation of prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00 pm (Hong Kong Time) on 26 January 2016.
