MTR Academy
By administering the MTR Research Funding Scheme, MTR Academy supports the development of research talent in railway transportation and promotes the translation of fundamental research to practical applications.
The MTR Research Funding Scheme is a competitive bidding funding scheme open to eligible full-time academic staff from all UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong. Calls for research proposals are issued annually. It provides financial support for railway-related projects that deliver long-term benefits and create meaningful impact, including but not limited to technological advancement, service quality, and system performance.
