"The Transformation "
Created as part of a collaborative project organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and MTR Corporation, "The Transformation" is a series of seats and photographic backdrops that celebrates different building typologies in the Tiu Keng Leng area.
Guided by HKDI lecturers and visiting fellows, a team of five Higher Diploma in Visual Communication students explored the history of the typical types of housing and distinctive buildings in Tiu Keng Leng. They used these images to create colourful and distinctive seats based on the different building styles. Each seat has a custom-designed backdrop that adds to the experience of sitting on these fun interactive artworks.
