To cater for the heavy cross-boundary passenger flow during the Chinese New Year, Lo Wu Control Point will extend its operating hours on the nights of 9 February (Chinese New Year’s Eve) and 11 February (the second day of the Chinese New Year) until 2:00 a.m. on the next day, and the East Rail Line cross-boundary train service to and from Lo Wu Station will be extended to make travel more convenient for passengers!
Please be reminded that overnight train service for MTR local lines will be provided on the Chinese New Year’s Eve only. Except East Rail Line, there will be no train service extension on the second day of the Chinese New Year and the last train departure time remains unchanged. The Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point (Futian Control Point) will close at 10:30 pm on both days as usual. Train service to or from Lok Ma Chau Station will maintain their regular operating hours.
【Last train to/from Lo Wu Station】
On the nights of 9 and 11 February, the last East Rail Line train to Lo Wu Station will depart from the Admiralty Station at 00:56 a.m., arriving at Lo Wu Station at around 01:46 a.m. which is about 14 minutes before the Control Point closes; while the last train from Lo Wu Station to Admiralty Station will depart at 02:30 a.m. and will arrive Admiralty at around 03:20 a.m.

【Warm Reminders for Interchange Journeys】
On the night of 11 February (the second day of the Chinese New Year), other MTR local lines will maintain the regular operating hours without service extension. Passengers who plan to use the East Rail Line extended train service may not be able to transfer to/from other MTR lines.
