Spending Rewards at Central and Hong Kong stations

Terms and Conditions for “Spending Rewards at Central and Hong Kong stations” (“Promotion”):

1. i. Earn $80 discount coupons: From 1 June to 24 June 2021 8pm ("Promotion Period”), customers (not limited to MTR Mobile registered users) can redeem a total value of HK$80 designated MTR Shops discount coupon (“Coupons”) at the Redemption Counter by making a single transaction of HK$100 or more via electronic payment at the participating shops in MTR Central Station or Hong Kong Station.
   ii. Earn 10X MTR Points: From 1 June to 24 June 2021 (transaction date), MTR Mobile registered users can earn 10 MTR Points for every HK$1 spent by making a single transaction of HK$50 or above via electronic payment at the participating shops in MTR Central Station or Hong Kong Station. To earn MTR Points, simply register the sales receipt and electronic payment slip via “Self-Earn” function on MTR Mobile.
2. Electronic payment includes credit cards, EPS, Octopus, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Union Pay QuickPass, Tap & Go, FPS, PayMe and electronic stored-value cards issued by merchants (“Eligible Transactions”).
3. Receipts from the following shops, services or transactions are not accepted as Eligible Transactions or entitled to earn MTR Points:
   Any non-designated electronic payment, temporary promotional booths, online shopping/takeaway order platforms, online payment (including collect package in store) or transfers, purchase and usage of gift vouchers/coupons/gift cards/stored-value cards, reload of stored-value cards, bill payments, autopay, banks, foreign currency exchanges, insurance and value-added services, property rental and sale, betting, school fees, purchase of travel/transport/entertainment-related ticket fees or charges, medical/traditional Chinese medicine/nutritionist services, courier services, 999.9 gold and gold savings club (not including decorated gold).
4. Participating Shops refer to the merchants in MTR Central Station and Hong Kong Station which are still participating in the Promotion on the day of the transaction. Participating Shops could be changed and be updated by the MTR Corporation from time to time without prior notice. For the latest updated list of Participating Shops, please inquire or check at the Redemption Counters.
5. For each Eligible Transaction partially settled by a discount coupons or cash coupons, only the actual paid amount by electronic payment, after deducting the face value of such discount coupons or cash coupons, is counted. Such paid amount must be equal to or larger than the minimum spending requirement.
6. Each valid transaction receipt can only be used for redemption once. Duplicate use is not allowed. Any payment receipts in cash or cash coupons, copies of receipts and handwritten receipts are not accepted.
7. The gift coupon set includes 3 pieces of HK$10 food and beverage shop discount coupons and 1 piece of HK$50 retail shop discount coupon. Customers are not allowed to choose the types of coupons. Coupons are only applicable to designated station shops in MTR Central Station or Hong Kong Station. Food and beverage shop discount coupons offer $10 off for spending HK$20 or above; retail shop coupons offer $50 off for spending HK$100 or above. 8. Coupons can only be redeemed during the opening hours of the Redemption Counters. Customer Service Centre of the MTR stations will not process any coupon redemption matters. Customers must present the original valid machine-printed sales receipt ("Receipt") issued by Participating Shops and the cardholder’s electronic payment slip with the matching value (if applicable) in order to redeem the coupon. For certain electronic payment methods, customers may be required to provide the records on their mobile devices, credit cards or Octopus cards for verification.
9. The opening dates of the Redemption Counters are every Tuesday and Thursday during the Promotion Period (i.e. 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24 of June, 2021), from 12 pm to 8 pm. The Redemption Counters are located at Shopline of MTR Hong Kong Station, G.O.D. of MTR Hong Kong Station and next to Starbucks of MTR Central Station. Limited quantity of coupons for each day and will be distributed on first-come-first served basis, while stocks last. The Redemption Counters will be closed after all coupons for the day are redeemed. The Promotion will be terminated immediately after all available coupons are redeemed without notice.
10. Customers must check their coupons on the spot when redeeming the rewards. Once the redemption procedure is completed, the coupons cannot be returned, changed or exchanged for cash.
11. Each customer is limited to redeeming one set of coupons at a time. If customers wish to redeem more than one set, they are required to queue up again. Each customer can redeem up to five sets per day.
12. Coupons are only applicable to designated shops in MTR Central Station and Hong Kong Station, and are invalid after the expiry date. Every coupon can only be used once. 13. MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to alter or terminate the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
14. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance shall not apply to the terms and conditions herein.
15. MTR Corporation Limited and the participating shops reserve the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
