Xiqu CentreXiqu Centre

Xiqu Centre is dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of Chinese traditional theatre. It has a unique architectural and streamlined space design. It houses a 1,000-seat grand theatre and a tea house where traditional tea and dim sum are served while enjoying Cantonese opera. This a great place for those who are into traditional Chinese arts and delicacies!

Opening hour: 10:00a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Tips: There are different free events, exhibitions and tours hosted regularly at the Xiqu Centre, don’t forget to make an online booking in advance if you don’t want to miss them out! Some parts of the park may be closed due to constructions or events, so make sure to check their latest notice about their park and public spaces before visiting!

Kowloon Walled City ParkKowloon Walled City Park

Want to revisit this place that boasts a legendary past to it? You may head to the Kowloon Walled City Park that was converted from the Walled City, with a number of the city’s remnants inside, such as the two carved granite plaques bearing the characters for “South Gate” and the other “Kowloon Walled City”. A lot of famous Hong Kong dramas and films were filmed here! The park also boasts a tranquil environment, which makes it also a great place for a relaxing walk!

Tai KwunTai Kwun

Do you still remember what the Former Central Police Station Compound looked like? It has been transformed into the new landmark for hipsters in Central. After revitalisation, Tai Kwun is an all-in-one centre for heritage and arts, offering numerous themed exhibitions related to Hong Kong’s history and culture, alongside a variety of contemporary art presentations. Here, you can revisit the history of Hong Kong and savour pleasurable moments.

Tips: Want to reach the destination relaxingly? To avoid walking on the stairs, you may head to Tai Kwun via the Central-Mid-Levels Escalators from Queens Road Central to Sheung Wan! You may also take the MTR at non-peak hours to avoid the crowds and may have higher chances of getting a seat for your journey!
